Come join us for our January 2019 webinar in which visual story teller E.B. Lewis will share how he uses historical research to ensure authenticity and portray the rich cultural heritage in his fiction and nonfiction picture books. The subjects of his stories range from the boyhood of Civil Rights leader John Lewis to the young girl Ada Ruth who awaits her mama’s return from her job in Chicago. E.B. will also discuss his use of models to “paint without fear” and masterfully capture the expression, gesture, and personality of his characters.
