Roll up your sleeves for a Pitch and Query Workshop!

April 14, 2018

Due to the winter storm, we have rescheduled for April 21

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Mahoney Lodge, Mahoney State Park

Selling your story to an agent or editor requires grabbing their attention in a matter of seconds. Join Heather Cashman, Managing Director of #PitchWars, #PitMad, and #PitchMadness to learn how to write strong pitches and queries that will grab a reader’s attention and get them wanting more.

This is an in-person, hands-on workshop, so bring a pitch and query to work with during the event, along with writing materials and/or a laptop, so you can take notes and rework your query during the event.

Heather Cashman
Attendees can also sign up for pitch and query critiques from Heather. These can be submitted after the workshop; Heather will respond within three weeks.

Heather Cashman
is an agent intern and Managing Director of all things #PitchWars #PitMad #PitchMadness. Previously, she was an editor for Cornerstones Literary Consultancy, US. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, the lab reports always lacked the fantastical element her imagination demands. So hypotheses turned into taglines and novels that range from Epic Fantasy to Contemporary Speculative Fiction. Member, SCBWI.
