Join us as Pat Cummings, author/illustrator of over forty books for young readers, covers how to interweave factual research into engaging middle grade fiction. Pat will also touch on how she integrated genealogy into her writing process for her debut MG novel “Trace” and offer advice on best practices for a large writing project, complete with cautionary tales of what not to do (learned the hard way).
